Join us for a day of Freedom in Downtown Montgomery at Riverfront Park! This 1st Annual BLACK AUGUST JUBILEE is a celebration of cultural unity. We are highlighting ALL of Montgomery's beloved Black Owned Businesses.
Take this rare opportunity to visit Montgomery's Equal Justice Initiative, the Legacy Museums, and the Civil Rights Trails! Activity maps and guided tours will be available.
Get ready for delicious food trucks and local vendors showcasing their unique creations with live visual art installations and musical performances starting at 4 PM. We've curated a holistic experience including yoga, meditation, and breathwork sessions throughout the day beginning at 5 AM.
We're kicking off Black Business Month by commemorating the most impactful victory in modern history, known worldwide as the Alabama Sweet Tea Party, orchestrated by the ancestors on August 5th, 2023 at this very locale. This season of solidarity is the ideal environment to immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere and connect with like-minded individuals.
