The Black Art Lounge is a space where you can immerse yourself in a creative atmosphere and participate in various creative activities inspired by renowned Black artists and icons. When you arrive, you’ll choose an “art station” to start creating.
Activities include:
- Writing prompts inspired by Langston Hughes
- Acrylic painting influenced by Alma Thomas
- Collaging in the vibrancy of Christa David
- Mixed media art portraiture with the vibes of Mickalene Thomas
We’ll also have beverages and light snacks to keep you refreshed as you create.
