This is a 20-hour Street Medic training EXCLUSIVELY for self-identified Black and/or Indigenous folks. We are PRIORITIZING Black & Lenape queer & trans* participants born & raised in the city and/or Indigenous to these lands. We understand that Black & Indigenous identities are worldwide, intersecting identities and they are not mutually exclusive. We invite all colonized people who understand & identify themselves as Black and/or Indigenous to join us. From Tibet to Palestine to Nigeria to Colombia to Turtle Island, we will continue to work in solidarity and we will all be free!
You will be able to choose from two street medic trainings. Both trainings will be Friday 5p-9p and Saturday & Sunday 9a-5p. You only need to ATTEND ONE but to become a street medic you have to ATTEND THE WHOLE 20 HOURS:
(1) June 4-6 at the Discovery Center, 3401 Reservoir Dr 19121
(2) June 11-13 at Bartram's Garden, 5400 Lindbergh Blvd 19143

To become a street medic you MUST attend a full 20-hour training. We are PRIORITIZING folks who can commit to attending the full 20 hours. We will be providing childcare, transportation aid, & meals during the training. We can also work with you to provide what you need to show up for the full 20 hours - just let us know!
We do have a PARTICIPANT CAP of 16 trainees per session. If we have more interest than that we'll keep your info for future trainings! If you are signing up, please MAKE SURE YOU CAN COMMIT TO & MAKE THE WHOLE 20 HOURS, Friday 5-9pm, Saturday 9-5pm, & Sunday 9-5pm.
