Black & Jewish is a series of painted and drawn black and white portraits amplifying the intersectional identities of Jews of Color. Interviews with subjects have been interpreted in poetry commissioned to poets of color, and will be both displayed and performed alongside the portraits opening night. The work is created by multi-ethnic, multi-discipline artist and educator TJ Reynolds with a grant from Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
