FREE BKS DANCE EVENT FOR FAMILIES
Join us for a FREE event designed especially for kids interested in learning Bachata, Kizomba, or Salsa partner dancing! Our vibrant BKS community is eager to share our passion for dance and create a fun, welcoming space for kids to learn and enjoy. This event is perfect for those wanting to explore dance in a safe and respectful environment.
EVENT SCHEDULE
4:00 PM: HOT DOGS
- FREE Hotdogs for kids under 18
- Hotdogs by donation for ages 18 and up
- Please confirm how many estimated hot dogs you and your family would like to ensure we have enough
4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: LESSON
- FREE Beginner Bachata, Kizomba, or Salsa lesson for kids under 18
- Lessons taught by our wonderful local dance instructors
5:30 PM - 8:00 PM: DANCE PARTY
- Bachata, Kizomba, and Salsa Dance Party
- Music by local DJs and music enthusiasts
- Open to all ages
What to Bring:
- A positive attitude
- Comfortable outdoor footwear (sneakers)
- Sunscreen
- Lawn chairs
- Water bottles
- Swimsuit and towel (for the spray park)
We understand that some kids may need breaks or have shorter attention spans, so there will be plenty of options to play at the playground, enjoy the spray park, or run around in the field to burn off energy.
Kids participating in the dance lessons are expected to follow instructions and be kind and respectful to others. Those who are disruptive will be kindly asked to take a break until they are ready to rejoin respectfully.
Dance Party Time!
Enjoy open social dancing for kids and adults of all ages, where kids can practice their new moves. Music will be provided by DJs and music enthusiasts from our dance community.
