?? Velkomin á Björgun 24! Alþjóðlega ráðstefnan Björgun hefur verið haldin á tveggja ára fresti frá árinu 1990 og er því haldin í 15. skiptið nú í ár. Ráðstefnan verður í Hörpu, dagana 11.-13. október. Ráðstefnunni hefur vaxið fiskur um hrygg, fjöldi fyrirlestra hefur aukist ár frá ári og nú verða þeir rúmlega 50 talsins og fyrirlesararnir eru sérfræðingar sem fengur er að.
Ráðstefnan fer fram samhliða í fjórum sölum. Fyrirlestrarnir verða ýmist fluttir á íslensku eða ensku. Til þess að ráðstefnugestir fái sem mest út úr hverjum fyrirlestri er boðið upp á túlkaþjónustu. Allir ensku fyrirlestrarnir verða þýddir á íslensku um leið og þeir eru fluttir og þeir íslensku verða þýddir á ensku.
Samhliða ráðstefnunni er efnt til viðamikillar vörusýningar þar sem ráðstefnugestir geta kynnt sér allt það nýjasta sem í boði er fyrir leitar- og björgunarfólk.
