About this Event
Join us for the BizVets LA Pitch Competition — an evening that brings together veteran founders, investors, and leaders from the defense and dual-use tech sectors. This live event will showcase innovative startups led by military veterans, offering them the opportunity to pitch their ventures before a panel of seasoned investors and industry experts.
The competition is designed to accelerate veteran entrepreneurship by connecting founders to strategic networks, capital, and critical feedback. Whether you're a veteran founder, a supporter of veteran-owned businesses, or an investor seeking high-impact opportunities in national security and emerging technologies, this event offers a powerful forum for collaboration and inspiration. Startups will pitch live before a panel of investors from veteran-founded venture capital firms, including Mike Sherbakov (The Veteran Fund), Andrew Bartholomew (Fulcrum Venture Group), Dr. Steve Kiser (Veteran Ventures Capital), and Tim Hsia (Context Ventures).
Hosted at Patriotic Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, the evening will include a cocktail hour, pitch presentations, and networking with leaders across the public and private sectors.
