Bittersweet Memories: Vine Removal and Forest Clean-up on Mosholu Parkway
No experience necessary! We will work together to remove vines and clean the forest along Mosholu Parkway (The Mosholu Teaching Forest). It's a great opportunity to meet neighbors and help save young trees smothered with vines (it's very satisfying).
Don't forget to wear longsleeved shirts and pants and bring a bottle of water.
We will meet in the playground and work in the forest below the playground, at the base of the hill. If you arrive and can't find us, walk down and look in the woods, you'll see us working.
