Bitter Lamentations (Gorzkie Żale) is an 18th-century Polish Lenten devotion focusing on the Passion of Christ and the sorrows of Mary. This three-part prayer service will cover the different aspects of Christ's suffering, including his agony in the garden, trial, crowning with thorns, and crucifixion. It will offer us the time to engage in deep spiritual reflection during Lent.
