Business Isle of Man, an Executive Agency within the Department for Enterprise, will host a series of bitesize business masterclasses for small businesses.These sessions have been designed specifically to support Small Businesses, with a focus on local economy businesses providing answers to commonly asked questions.
This series of workshops will begin in July 2024. They will take place in the Santander Work Café in Douglas, beginning at 8am and ending at around 9.30am.
The first workshop ‘VAT for Small Business – The basics’ will be hosted by Nicola Bowker (Nicola Bowker & Co Holistic Business Accounting) on 2nd July from 8am-9.30am and will be free of charge. This session will walk you through why and how to register for VAT, how to keep your records and some common difficulties.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to book a 5 minute slot to speak to the host 1 on 1 after the lecture to ask for personalised advice and specific information to help them grow.
A representative from Business Isle of Man will be in attendance at each workshop to answer any questions you may have regarding business on the Isle of Man.
