About this Event
Business Isle of Man, an Executive Agency within the Department for Enterprise, will host a series of bitesize business masterclasses for small businesses.These sessions have been designed specifically to support Small Businesses, with a focus on local economy businesses providing answers to commonly asked questions.
This series of workshops will begin in July 2024. They will take place in the Santander Work Café in Douglas, beginning at 8am and ending at around 9.30am.
‘What makes a good Apprenticeship & VTAS Explained’ will be hosted by Jo Richardson (University College Isle of Man) and Juan Kinley (Department of Education Sport and Culture) on 16th July from 8am-9.30am and will be free of charge. This session will explain what financial support is available for training, how the process works and the type of eligibility and questions may be asked with regards to the Vocational Training Assistance Schemes (VTAS) and apprenticeships.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to book a 5 minute slot to speak to the host 1 on 1 after the lecture to ask for personalised advice and specific information to help them grow.
A representative from Business Isle of Man will be in attendance at each workshop to answer any questions you may have regarding business on the Isle of Man.
