Create a most satisfying hardback book with exposed French link stitch binding, incorporating multiple ribbons into the spine and remnant fabric or paper into the cover. This book opens up nice and flat making for a great sketchbook or journal, with lots of opportunity to personalise.In class we will make an A6 size landscape or portrait book but I will share how to scale up and down should you want to create the same style of book in different shapes and sizes at home.

Please note: there might be aspects of your book you want to continue working on at home or don’t get finished in class – if this is the case, all materials will be provided for you to take away as well as access comprehensive follow up video instructions so you can continue your making at home.
Accessibility: the Ink on Mesh studio is up a flight of stairs and isn’t accessible by lift, if this is a problem please get in touch as alternative workshop space on the ground floor is a possibility.
