Are you or your child interested in nature but lack the time/attention span for a 3 hour long bird walk? Then THIS is the event for you! After meeting in the World Cup parking lot (at 21st and Washburn), we will walk down to Shunga Parkway Park (at Washburn and Shunga Drive) and explore the area for about an hour, looking at birds, bugs, plants, and whatever critters we can find! Then we will walk back to World Cup for breakfast, coffee, or just a morning snack while we discuss what we found. Kids are welcome and we will have extra binoculars for both children and adults to use! Please wear walking shoes and consider bringing bug spray and sunscreen.
