AYLIN LECLAIRE (DE) // DARK-POP/ELECTRO
With her folkloristic, dark-pop-infused electro sound, Aylin Leclaire repeatedly takes us on journeys to other worlds and dimensions. The German-Turkish musician tells emotionally charged stories through complex beats and her virtuosic voice, blending her own life experiences with an otherworldly poetry.
Live, her artistically sophisticated performances merge with elaborate stage designs to create a total work of art from this interdisciplinary artist.
Her debut album Sculptural Rituals, released in 2022, follows the cycle of artistic creation on a deeply touching and intimate level.
After her UK tour (2023) and numerous concerts in Germany, we can now look forward to several new releases in the coming year (2025).

“Sheebaba confirm that the greatest, weirdest music is still to be
found in Germany” – Alt77, 19.04.22
“Sheebaba's body of sound seems like a concrete potion poured in a fishnet suit. With bruit, the duo somehow unveils a synesthetic tonality that paints plain but uneven textures of industrial glitch, fuzz and noise. Along the way, they synthesize both textual and tonal fragments from a wide-ranging tableau of pop music history, film and everyday life. By the refreshing juxtaposition of all these fragments, paired with multilingual speech, an enigmatic narrative patchwork emerges.
THE X (LUX) // ELECTRO-PUNK
“The soundtrack to your burning world”
If the luxembourgish Electro-punk duo "The X" were a character in a cyberpunk movie, you'd find him amidst the smoky haze of a late-night after-hour club, dancing their way through a world both euphoric and melancholic.
Their first EP, "Some Beautiful Things Come from Dark Places," released in June 2023, seamlessly blends the futuristic with the nostalgic within their trip-pop domain.
Taking stages at events like Francofolies, Fêtes de la Musique in Luxembourg City and Echternach, Bieder Open Air, and Flow Festival, the duo doesn’t just perform; they beckon audiences into an experiential voyage. Now, on the precipice of their next sonic chapter, "The X" is poised to release their second EP in April 2024 at Kulturfabrik Esch. This forthcoming installment promises a musical evolution – a weightier, more intense, socio-critical tone, while retaining its inherent danceable essence.
Prepare for an immersive dive into a world where music catalyzes change, amplifies expression, and beckons you to dance amidst societal upheavals. "The X" invites you to experience their sonic revolution.
