On October 4th, Chasing Trail run club is going to be running a marathon (26.2 miles) around Lawton to check out all of the Bison statues around town (on the west side of 44).Pace will be an easy conversational pace. We aren't trying to set any speed records. We are running for the love of running.
Join us for the entire run or just a segment or two. Either way, it's going to be some great type 2 fun!
We highly recommend that you bring a light because we are starting early to avoid traffic on the roads and bring a hydration device.
There will be statues at two gas stations for refill/refuel and three Sonics for cherry limeades, so make sure to bring cash or card for these stops!
To commemorate the run, we have a stencil, so all you need is to bring a shirt that we can spray paint the design on!
