About this Event
Calling all San Diego County professionals who provide services for pregnant and postpartum families...join us for a morning of in-person networking where you can connect with other providers, share your business, and explore how we can help support each other, and ultimately, local families through collaboration and intentional referrals.
Doulas, childbirth educators, lactation support, midwives, pelvic floor therapists, chiropractors, yoga teachers, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and any professional who serves pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people....you are invited!
Agenda:
8:30 am - Arrive and grab a coffee, green juice, and light breakfast bites (think: fruit and aussie bites...)
8:45am - 90 second elevator pitch (share your business and one thing you would like support with right now)
9:00am - Triads (the hosts will organize groups of three for deeper connection)
9:30am - goodbyes + discuss next meeting
This event is FREE but pre-registration is required. Space is very limited so please only RSVP if you are sure you can attend. Bring your birthworker friends!

Ivy is a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and women’s health physical therapy. In graduate school, she developed a passion for treating women struggling with pelvic floor dysfunction. After receiving her doctorate in physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, she went on to pursue further education for pelvic floor treatment through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute.
Kelly Rae Brusch, Doula

Kelly has been supporting pregnant and postpartum families since 2018. She has practiced doula support all over the country (and in France!) and has recently returned to her home state of California where she offers both birth and postpartum doula services and childbirth education. She is a trained Cornerstone Doula, a full spectrum, intersectional doula training to learn how to support all birthing people and their communities. In addition to learning birth anatomy/physiology and how to provide physical comfort measures we are trained in implicit bias, birth and reproductive justice, trauma informed care, and informed decision making.
