About this Event
Our meetings take place online via Zoom. A link will be provided closer to the time to those that book a space.
PLEASE BE AWARE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A WEBCAM TO JOIN THE MEETING VIA VIDEO SO THAT WE CAN ENSURE WE'RE CATERING TO THE BAME COMMUNITY.
Collectively, we create a safe space where we can have access to accurate information to better our maternal health outcomes.
The group is facilitated by Black & Asian birthkeepers; women who work with Mothers during the perinatal phase and will take place every second Thursday of the month. Each session will explore a specific birth-related theme and there will be opportunities to discuss any topic that comes up.
On the 13th March we will be discussing 'what's in your birth bag'
Throughout our sessions we will be joined by various professionals from within the mother and baby sector who can answer your questions and support you through whichever stage of the birthing journey that you are at. You'll have the opportunity to talk to Birthkeepers and to other parents as we discuss these options.
It’s important to remember that every birth is sacred so we will also look at ways to create a calm environment in all situations.
We look forward to welcoming you all!
