Imagine going into labor not just prepared, but excited to experience it all. Join our in-person birth class in Traverse City, led by a midwife and childbirth expert, Kristen Shook, LM, RN, CLS, and gain everything you need to approach labor with confidence. This is so much more than your mom’s Lamaze class!
In this four-part class, you’ll learn how to:
- Advocate for yourself during labor
- Manage the intensity of contractions with proven coping techniques
- Stay resilient, no matter how your birth unfolds
- Create a personalized birth plan that aligns with your goals
- Equip your partner with hands-on ways to support and feel involved
What You’ll Learn:
📍 Classes 1, 2: Labor & Birth – Understanding the process, pain management strategies, and self advocacy skills.
📍Class 3: Breastfeeding– Everything you need to know for a successful start.
📍 Class 4: Baby care basics and postpartum healing!
Beyond the knowledge and confidence you'll gain, you’ll also connect with other local parents expecting babies around the same time!
