Bahá'u'lláh (Glory of God) was born in 1817 in Tehran, Persia (now Iran). His life of service and sacrifice included 40 years of imprisonment and exile from Persia to Baghdad, Constantinople, Adrianople and finally the Ottoman prison city of Akka (Acre/Akko), now in Israel.
