The Greater Fort Lauderdale Diaper Bank is proud to present our 4rd Annual Birth, Baby and Beyond Health and Wellness Expo. This Expo will be an educational and interactive event designed to connect community resources, medical teams, providers and the community together with the hopes of addressing social determinants of health including diaper need, food insecurity and isolation. We will be providing essential information, medical screenings and resources to individuals in the community that have been linked to negative health outcomes including a cardiovascular disease, higher rate of caesarian sections and lack of maternal and mental health care. The event will act as be a public health intervention for the local community who experience health disparities due to lack of knowledge and income barriers.
