Spend the day in a room with a bunch of writers, limitless caffeine, snacks, a tasty lunch, and all the pep and encouragement you need to get those words down.
Birmingham Writers' Retreats are for anyone who needs the time, space and support to write.
We’ll help you set your writing goals for the day (and for the long-term), working in short, manageable bursts – long enough to focus but not so long you burn out – with breaks for leg stretches, refreshments and writerly chat. A score board, gold stars and general silliness will help you reach your targets and get your writing moving.
WHO ARE WRITERS' HQ RETREATS FOR?
New writers! Emerging writers! Aspiring writers! Experienced writers! Anyone with an idea or a work-in-progress who wants to write. Academics, students, fiction writers, memoir writers, poets, scriptwriters - whatever you're writing, you're welcome.
