This is a figure of eight walk from the Navigation Pub on the Stratford and Avon Canal. It is quite flat and there are a few stiles. The morning walk is 5 miles and the afternoon 2 miles. Lunch at the Navigation Inn. From the aqueduct, the route follows the leafy canal north for 1 ½ miles before turning East , passing below an ancient hill fort on route to Kington Grange. From there we travel south on a bridle path to join the Monarch’s way at Cutler’s farm, then north west, back to the canal via Austy Woods and on to the Navigation Inn.

The afternoon loop is a short stretch south on the canal and returning via the river Alne.
