About this Event

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DURATION OF THIS EVENT SHOWN ABOVE IS ONLY APPROXIMATE AND CANNOT BE GUARANTEED; IT WILL DEPEND ON FACTORS SUCH AS THE WEATHER AND THE WALKING PACE OF THE GROUP.

Join this leisurely ramble with a Birmingham Ramblers group leader and enjoy social walking with our friendly members.

It is very helpful for the walk leader to have prior knowledge of numbers that will be on this walk. We ask you to complete this very brief form to help with our planning of the walk to ensure that we can safely accommodate all who wish to join us. You will receive an automatic acknowledgement when you submit this form, and also a reminder of the details 2 days before the walk.

If you later find that you are unable to join us it would be helpful if you let us know either by following the 'View and manage your order online' link in your confirmation email and then selecting your order or by sending an email to [email protected] - this will be passed on to the walk leader and will prevent any delay to the start of the walk should the leader be waiting for you.

This is a 5 mile linear walk from Warrens Hall Nature Reserve to Netherton.

Meet at the No.X8 bus stop (SH2) on Colmore Row, City centre to catch the 10.19 am bus, alighting at Warrens Hall Reserve, Dudley Road, Rowley Regis, B65 8NA at 11am. If it is more convenient for you this bus is scheduled at Bearwood Interchange at 10.37am. Travel is free for those with West Midlands Travel Cards or £4 Day Saver Ticket without. PLEASE CHECK BUS TIMES

Walk leader: John Chapman

The walk is on undulating Black Country terrain on tarmac and grass paths. Towards the end of the walk there are park benches available for a picnic lunch stop or for those who wish a visit to the Old Swan Inn (Ma Pardoes). The return journey will be on the No.19 bus from outside the pub terminating at Quinton/Harborne via Halesowen Bus Station where those who require the city can pick up the No.9 bus.

Expressions of Interest for this walk will close at 06.00 on Tuesday 30 May 2023. After this, please email [email protected] to enquire about any late availability for the walk.
