Come down to our Birley site to help maintain and enhance our organic orchard which consists of 22 varieties of fruit tree.Our local partner Hulme Community Garden Centre are leading the session, and you will be working alongside staff, students, local residents and volunteers to learn about orchard management.
During this session our aim is to check the health of the fruit trees, W**d around the bases of the trees and sow wildflower seeds.
This session will take place come rain or shine, please wear appropriate clothing, and ensure you come in suitable footwear (no open footwear allowed, if it is raining please wear wellies or boots).
Please meet Kath in the Birley community orchard, which is located in front of the Brooks building at 1.30pm.
