On Saturday March 14th at 2pm, area author N. West Moss will be discussing her middle grade novel BIRDY (Little, Brown). BIRDY is dedicated to Warren Balgooyen, Teatown's first naturalist. West will read from her book, and will discuss the impact that Teatown and Warren had on her growing up. Please bring stories of your own Teatown experiences. Cider and cake will be served!Pictured above is one of the illustrations from Birdy, by Carrie Shryock. For those in the know, that's Fingers the raccoon, and Patches the goat, both from early days at Teatown.
Books will be available for sale on-site thanks to The Village Bookstore in Pleasantville!
