Last year Robin and her fellow birders spotted 19 species while walking the Nature Trail and Desert View Trail of Long ValleyJoin Robin Roberts on a bird walk along the Desert View and Nature Trails in Long Valley at about 8400 feet looking for birds such as the White-headed Woodpecker, Clark's Nutcracker, Red-breasted Sapsucker, Cassin's Finch, Violet-green Swallows, and more. Robin loves to share her passion about birds, leading walks far and wide in every ecological niche. THE DETAILS:

- Date and Time: Saturday, June 23, 8:30 am-11:30 am ( see our website for instructions on purchasing Tram tickets and arriving on time) Remember MEMBERS receive a 20% discount on Tram tickets.
- Meet at: 3rd floor terrace at the top of outdoor stairs one floor up from the 2nd floor Mountain Station tram terminal. Look for this lady pictured below.
- Preparation: At least 1 liter of water, sturdy shoes, snack, binoculars (also available to loan at 1st floor Visitor Center) Hat, sun screen, bird check list (available at the NHA Visitor Center).
- Hike Level: Easy, mostly trail walk
- Class Size: Limit: 12
