Birds of the Bay at Rengstorff House (family-friendly)

Friends of Rengstorff House and the Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance (SCVBA), formerly the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society, are teaming up again for a family-friendly community event!

Join us to explore the Shoreline at Mountain View wildlife sanctuary and enjoy special outdoor and museum home programming.

Outdoor Fun:

• Guided bird watching with knowledgeable birders. Binoculars are available to borrow, courtesy of SCVBA!
• Taxidermy exhibit table with bird experts
• Bird-themed crafts

Inside the Museum:

• Museum home tours with docents in period attire
• Scavenger hunt
• More to be added

Rengstorff House is nestled in the beautiful Shoreline at Mountain View, a protected wildlife and recreation area featuring miles of trails, a sailing lake, a golf course, and two nearby restaurants. Make a day of your visit!

Tour and birdwatching schedules will be posted as the event day approaches.

Drop-ins are welcome! Admission is free. Donations are appreciated and help support the maintenance of the museum collection and community events like this one. Thanks for supporting the museum!
