Join us IN PERSON as we explore the reciprocal relationship between humans and animals with Lynn Sciumbato of the Morning Star Wildlife Rehabilitation Center with 2 live BIRDS, Igor the turkey vulture and Sydney the barred owl.
A seasoned storyteller, Lynn will share the history and regulations that govern native wildlife rehabilitation in Northwest Arkansas. Guests will learn best practices and have the opportunity to engage with live ambassador birds from Morning Star. Lynn has been a wildlife rehabilitator for 33 years and was a biology teacher for more than 20 years at Rogers High School. Between 2017 and 2019, she brought approximately 1,200 birds to her center.
