Join us for an introductory birding event - on wheels!We are partnering with Bike Works and the Seward Park Audubon Center in Seattle to take you on a casual bike ride to showcase some local birding hotspots.
Burgers and water will be provided! Info and dietary requests will be forwarded to participants once registered.

Bike route: moderate skill level, approx. 7 miles roundtrip
Birding skill level: novice
Participants: Riders must be 9 years or older, unless you have a trailer, tagalong, or similar method of bringing them along so they aren't riding independently.
You will learn to:
- use binoculars
- identify common backyard birds of Washington
- find local birding resources
- find local resources for renting or repairing a bike
What to bring:
- bike (rentals available in limited quantities)
- bike helmet
- small backpack (to carry binoculars, water, etc.)
- binoculars (optional - will be provided, but bring your own if you prefer)
- sunglasses/sunscreen
- water
- snacks
