The Friends of Rib Mountain State Park invite the public to hike and explore the glory of Rib Mountain State Park and enjoy the birds that live and next there. Members of the Wausau Bird Club will be leading this hike, and the Friends of Rib Mountain State Park hope to see you there. You will be amazed at the great birds that thrive at Rib Mountain State Park. Binoculars can be helpful if you have them. This Saturday Hike will begin at the Park trailhead located at W1480 Grouse Lane (drive south from Hwy NN) , and will last for approximately 1 1/2 hr. Hikers should bring water and tick repellent, and be prepared to hike some uneven trails with downhill and uphill areas.
