About this Event
Learn how to spot and identify birds in their natural habitat at this beginner birding program. Your little ones will learn essential skills and tips they need to become bird enthusiasts! Using hands-on games and activities, we will unlock the secrets of bird adaptations, showcasing the remarkable ways these creatures thrive in different environments. We'll also discover the importance of land conservation to the well-being of our feathered friends, ensuring their habitats remain safe and healthy for generations to come.
This program is recommended for children and their families; however, all are welcome! A parent or guardian is required to stay on-site to assist and supervise their child(ren) for the duration of the program.
Participants should bring a water bottle and wear clothing appropriate for the weather. We recommend sun protection, bug spray, and closed-toe shoes, no flip-flops. Restrooms and a water fountain are available on site.
This program is provided in partnership with the Sarasota County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Department.
Your gift of $5 or more per person will help the Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast save wild places and continue to engage people in nature. We greatly appreciate your support!
