Join the Golden Eagle Audubon Society at Kathryn Albertson Park for a leisurely mid-morning stroll as Boise celebrates the annual Treefort Music Festival. We'll be taking time to appreciate the scenic landscape and appreciating the oasis created by this 41-acre park just minutes from the heart of downtown Boise and the Treefort Main Stage. A haven for wildlife and quiet contemplation, the park features wide, paved paths and outdoor gazebos in a beautiful natural setting. The most prevalent spring birds here are ducks, geese, finches, sparrows, kingfisher, and herons. We may even see an owl if we're lucky!
Pathways are paved and wheelchair accessible.

Birding Skill Level: All experience levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 10:30 pm - 12:30 pm

What to bring: Layers for weather, sun protection, comfortable shoes, binoculars, and water. A spotting scope will be available, but please feel free to bring your own. No dogs please.
Restroom availability: Restrooms are available in the parking lot and along the trail.
Inclement Weather: If there is steady rain forecast, the trip will be cancelled. If precipitation is light or intermittent, we will proceed as scheduled.
