To secure a place at this event, registration is required. Please make sure ALL fields are filled out on the registration form and a confirmation email is received.
Join the Golden Eagle Audubon as we wander around Wilson Springs Ponds to check out the birds of the season. The walk at Wilson Springs Ponds is an easy and accessible walk along a paved 1 mile loop. Some birds we may encounter include Wood Ducks, Ring-necked Ducks, Buffleheads, Lesser Scaups, Ruddy Ducks, Green-winged Teals, Cedar Waxwings, Northern Pintails, Redheads, Canvasbacks, Yellow-rumped Warblers, and White-crowned Sparrows.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 12:00-2:00 PM
We will meet at the parking lot of Wilson Springs Ponds.
What to bring: Bring layers for weather, closed toe shoes, binoculars and some water. A scope can be helpful, but is not necessary, I will have one to share . No dogs please.
Restroom Availability: Restrooms will be available near the parking lot.
