The History Museum of Hood River invites you to join Morgan Olson, local bird know-it-all, for a one hour walkabout along the Hood River to view birds and learn about local ecology. Binoculars provided. Osprey, Violet-green Swallows, and American Dippers are just a few of the birds along the way. Learn about the unique history, ecology and geology of the confluence of the Hood and Columbia Rivers.
Guests should be able to walk 1/2 mile on flat ground. Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a bottle of water recommended. Admission to museum is included with ticket.
Limited to 15 guests each event. Please, no strollers or guests under age 8.
Meet at the The History Museum at 9am.
