What to Expect:This event offers an incredible opportunity to see skilled bird ringers carefully catch, identify, measure, and ring birds right here in the Heart of England Forest. You’ll learn about why bird ringing is crucial for conservation and gain insights into the lives of some of the forest’s feathered residents.
Expect close-up encounters with birds, learn how ringing data helps monitor bird populations and migrations, and ask the experts all your burning questions!
We have two consecutive seperate sessions starting at 8.30am and then 9.30am. Each session will last about an hour and your ticket will include a welcome hot drink. This event is not suitable for dogs.

Please be aware that bird ringing cannot take place under certain weather conditions and we may need to postpone this event at a few days notice. If you are unable to make the alternative date, a full refund would be offered.
Your participation supports this vital work, and the money received from donations goes towards the maintenance and management of habitats within the Forest. Donations allow us to continue to provide a safe haven for birds, mammals, and other much-loved wildlife.
