Join members of Northumbria Ringing Group as they do some bird ringing in Harperley Woods.Bird ringing is the practice of catching birds, marking them with an identifying band around the leg, and then releasing them.
It is a great opportunity to see the birds which visit your garden up close.
Please come along dressed for the weather with suitable footwear for a walk in the woods.
Please park considerately on Bradbury Close or nearby streets.
This is a free event which has been funded by our group.
