About this Event
Come along and join us to make a wonderful natural wreath that will feed the birds. Expert tuition from Helens Herbs along with advice on what to plant and how to manage your garden for nature over winter.
Where: Mirehouse Community Centre, 19 Seathwaite Avenue, Mirehouse, Whitehaven https://w3w.co/wheat.tarred.long very limited parking, please walk, car share or use public transport where possible
When: Thursday 13th November, 12pm-1.30pm
What: Join us & Helen from Helen’s Herbs for a FREE hands-on workshop using nature’s berries, seeds & greenery to create a beautiful, edible wreath for birds.
No experience is necessary and we will provide all the tools and materials but please feel free to bring any natural bits you would like to include and gardening gloves if you have them.
This event is free & suitable for all abilities - maximum of 2 tickets per booking. Tickets are limited, if you need to cancel please let us know ASAP so we can offer your place to others.

Safety
Safety statement - All events have been risk assessed, the risk assessment will be available from Karin at the event if you wish to see it. A safety briefing will be given at the start of the event. All events will be led by a WCRT staff member and in some cases an external. WCRT hold public liability insurance.
Your statement of participation - You, as the participant, understand that the activity can involve an element of risk of injury. You agree to take responsibility for your own actions and those for whom you have responsibility & will observe the safety instructions and guidance given by the WCRT staff. All bookings are made on the basis that participants will observe the safety instructions given by the WCRT staff member. Participants must agree to share any relevant information that will help the staff member to look after everyone’s safety.
GDPR statement - Please see Eventbrite’s GDPR statement. WCRT will keep your details for 1 week after the event to use for sending feedback forms to, all information provided will remain confidential.
Photo statement - we will take photos during the event, please let us know if you don’t consent to photos being taken.
