In this beginners’ embroidery and sewing class, artist JoAnna Jackson of Nestfeathers will teach students embroidery basics along with several stitches to create a lovely pin cushion featuring a simple bird. You will master the stem stitch, running stitch, and French knot as you embroider your piece. You will also learn how to transform this piece into a useful pin cushion. All supplies are provided, and you will leave with your embroidery project, hoop, needle, embroidery floss and everything you need for a finished pin cushion.
