Special guests include Sarasota County Commissioner Tom Knight, Director of Libraries and Historical Resources Dr. Renee Di Pilato, and SCHC Chair Dr. Mark Pienkos.
Following the unveiling of the marker, guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments and connect with community members who helped preserve this important piece of local history.
