COAR is delighted to be taking over this incredible concept and host BIPOC Creatives Hangouts. Originally developed and hosted by the everything.i.am.not project (@everything.i.am_not), this event series invites BIPOC creatives of any discipline and skill to come together for conversations about absolutely anything and everything. This recurring event aims to foster a space for BIPOC creatives to find community with each other in what is a predominantly white space in Canberra. We also welcome attendees to bring along anything creative that they would like to work on during the event – whether that be some yarn, paints, pencils, or a laptop.
What: A chill hangout space for BIPOC creatives.
Who: This event is open to anyone who identifies as BIPOC.
What to bring: Anything that allows for you to express your creativity, whether that be colouring pens, paper, notebook, paints, yarn, or a laptop.
Where: Blank Creative Co, located Ground Floor, 15 Moore St, Civic 2601. This venue has accessible parking at its premise, as well as bike racks outside of the venue.
