The 10th edition of BIOTA brings together students, faculty members, and researchers to explore life, health, and earth sciences as pillars of ecosystem resilience. Through engaging talks and poster sessions, we will showcase the latest breakthroughs in biological, ecological, health, and geological research – connecting molecular discoveries with ecosystem-scale dynamics to address past, present, and future challenges. This edition marks the 100th anniversary of the Cluj Botanical Garden’s public opening and is dedicated to Alexandru Borza, the visionary Romanian scientist who played a pivotal role in its development under Dacia Superior University (now Babeș-Bolyai University). His legacy in botanical research and conservation continues to shape ecological science and public education in Romania and beyond.
Registration period will be annouced shortly, for more details check the website: https://biogeo.ubbcluj.ro/biota/
