About this Event
In this symposium our speakers address scientific reproducibility in data science and biomedical imaging through a showcase of case studies and communities of practice. The replication crisis in scientific studies erodes public trust in research, wastes precious time, money and effort, and stifles progress. A Government Priority (ARC Research Integrity Policy 2023) is for “strong processes to ensure research integrity and quality help to promote high standards of excellence and impact”. This underscores the serious need for robust, reproducible data acquisition, processing and analysis methods in data science for health applications that are sensitive and accurate.
