Jane Li is an award-winning international artist currently based in Perth, Western Australia, where she is a member of the Western Australia Watercolour Society and president of Western Australia Oriental Culture and Art Association. She studies fine art in China and Australia, and is best known for her detailed botanical, bird art, and traditional Chinese paintings. Jane draws inspiration from her surroundings, especially Kings Park Botanic Gardens in Perth, where Jane also volunteers as a guide.Discover the beauty of classic watercolour in this engaging, hands-on class with experienced artist and teacher Jane. Learn essential techniques, develop confident brushstrokes, add texture, master composition basics, explore colour mixing theory, and balance colour quantity for stronger paintings.
This workshop is for adults, and will be held upstairs in the Art Room of the Darius Wells Centre.
