Biodanza Free Taster with Kate and Claudio - Canberra Do you love self-discovery and creative expression? Would you like to get into a new rhythm for yourself? Are you interested in dance as a transformation process ?
Biodanza is a transformational dance practice. First developed in South America its now loved around the world.
In Biodanza dance is not about learning steps - its about moving experiences in a space of freedom with uplifting music. This is such a natural thing for us humans and helps us awaken and maintain health, wellbeing and a sense of connectedness.
A series of dances invite you to ‘shake out the stress‘, play and explore different movement possibilities and slow down to become more present and steady.
The flow of the dances brings you home to yourself to re-discover your joie de vivre – joy of living.
You don’t need to a dancer, just to have a willingness to stretch your comfort zone a bit to try something new.
“Dance is an expression that belongs to everyone, as a possibility say with the body everything that the word cannot express.” Elodie - Biodanza facilitator from Belgium

? More about Biodanza
As humans we need to move to re-set our nervous systems after stress. Biodanza offers you space to move through the stresses of the day and reconnect.
It helps you to remember you are more than what goes on in your head. This is nourishing and supportive to your vitality. It can also boost your mood and help you connect to a deeper sense of contentment and joy in life.
? A Regular Biodanza Practice
We run a Tuesday group where you can develop a regular practice of Biodanza.
A regular practice of Biodanza offers you space to become more present and 'in your body'. Lots of people find this really helps their mood and mental health and to feel more connected in everyday life.
With time this can bring a sense of renewal in facing life with its challenges and possibilities and support you to reconnect with your vitality, passion, hope, creativity and dreams for the future.
? Some testimonials
"Have you ever danced until you flew? Danced so hard, so fast, so freely that you reach a level of overwhelming, ecstatic joy? If you haven’t you should – it can change your life."
Mike Aldridge on Biodanza, Namaste magazine
"I’m feeling wonderfully relaxed and uplifted… I feel good and strangely optimistic about everything"
Geoff Dalglish, Grab a Partner, Mens Health
"Can two and a half hours really make a difference to how you feel about your body? My experience is it can. … I sashayed over to my car, a big grin inside and out, feeling as if I had shifted and shaken loose something critical and controlling within. I realised how seldom I listen to my body’s wisdom and how often I override its needs and pleasures. If I am to learn to truly love myself, what better place to start than with my body?"
Rosemary Miller, Movement into life, Odyssey
