Firemen’s Park Veterans Memorial Leadership Germantown ProjectThe Germantown Area Veterans Memorial, dedicated on Veterans Day in 2006, is a tribute to Veterans of all service branches who have honorably served or are now serving their country from the War of 1812 to present.
The Honor Brigade, a Leadership Germantown Class of 2025 Team, has elected to raise funds to make updates and improvements to the grounds of the Germantown Area Veterans Memorial. Currently, the walkways to the Memorial are gravel, which makes it difficult for visitors to attend the ceremonies that take place on Memorial Day, Veteran’s Day, or to simply visit the site. The Honor Brigade’s Wheelchair Accessibility Project will replace the gravel walkways and seating areas with concrete and make the Memorial grounds ADA compliant for all to enjoy.
The Germantown Veterans Memorial Wheelchair Accessibility Project is planning a Bingo fundraiser on April 19 at the Germantown American Legion Post.
Doors Open at 12PM
Games Start at 1PM
2 Bingo Sessions
$25 per session
There will also be a 50/50 Raffle, beverages and light snacks for purchase which will also benefit the project.
