In January 2024, 11-year old Willow was diagnosed with ANCA, an autoimmune disorder that attacked her kidneys. While chemotherapy put the ANCA in remission, Willow has kidney failure, requiring daily at home dialysis. Since her diagnosis, she has suffered seizures and has been admitted to the hospital twice for heart failure. After the last visit, she began having unexplained delirium and memory loss. Willow is unable to get the life-saving kidney transplant until her heart, body, and mind are stable enough to undergo the surgery. In the meantime, her primary caregivers are her mother and older brother who are unable to work because of the round the clock care for Willow. Due to unfortunate circumstances, unemployment, disability, and other services have been denied. All funds raised will go to Willow’s mom, Michele, for household expenses (mortgage, utilities, car, maintenance, etc.) due to the inability to work while caring for Willow.
