Our dear friend, Jeff Kelly, has been battling a form of Leukemia for almost 4 years now. He has done this while working full-time and continuing to coach swimming at Derry Area School District. He said farewell to his teaching and administrative career in June of this year but was planning to continue coaching. Due to some recent changes with his health, he will be receiving astem cell transplant at M.D. Anderson in Texas and he and Renee will be there for approximately four months.
As you can imagine, this creates some hefty costs that are not covered by insurance. We are hosting a benefit BINGO for Jeff. To help with these expenses, please join us on November 10, at the West Point Firehall. In addition to playing BINGO, we will also have a 50/50 Drawing, Strip Tickets, Door Prizes and a Basket Raffle.
If you don’t like playing BINGO, there are other ways you can help. We are looking for BINGO game sponsors and basket raffle donations. Please notify us if you would like to donate a basket.
You can sponsor a complete BINGO game with a $50, $75, or $100 donation. You can also sponsor any of our JACKPOT games with a $200, $300 or $1,000 donation. Your name will be included in our sponsor list. Any dollar amount can be donated, no amount is too small! The more we can raise, the more we can give back to the Kelly’s.
We will also be accepting monetary donations to cover items like food, drinks, and other expenses.
