After what has been another difficult year for many, the BIM-SA team are back with our Christmas Networking Event to send off 2021 and we can't wait to see you all face to face.
Chair of BIM-SA Rebecca De Cicco will deliver an industry update covering local and international digital processes and initiatives. She will also give an update on the global group Women in BIM and some of their projects.
Please join us on Thursday December 02 where we have secured some great speakers with details below and be able to network with like-minded professionals over some well earned BIM drinks.
Cheyne Bird, Lead Digital Engineer, Laing O'Rourke
Laing O’Rourke as a committed digital contractor, will discuss and demonstrate the transformation of project enablement, design, construction and handover through strategy, systems and processes to deliver better outcomes to their business and clients.
Key demonstrators of the Digital Engineering capability will be presented through the locally delivered Torrens Rail Junction Project and the Darlington upgrade project. They will also discuss how as a business they are driving an organisational wide digital strategy overarching digital engineering, Information Management, data and systems.
Greg Diamond, Construction/Services Modeller, Construction Workshop
Greg's presentation will focus on how Construction Workshop develop consultants design models to be usable for construction. Greg will also discuss their approach regarding education to trades along the process as well as working remotely for a New Zealand company
