Can you believe it - We graduated 50(51) years ago! Join us for a great time, with good food, drinks & music, and get re-acquainted
About this Event

We have finally reached the age that calls for our 50th high school reunion. This is a major milestone in our life, and is an opportunity to re-acquaint ourselves with those we had the pleasure of knowing in high school (or to bury the hatchet with those that it may not have been so pleasant to know ?). Since the classes of '70 & '71 are jointly sponsoring the event, we are also inviting classes '68 - '73 from BHS, ND and SH. We will also have some of our former teachers there to harass and praise us ?. And, the BHS Alumni Band is getting back together to play a few songs at the main event

Even if you don't normally attend our reunions, this one is special and we hope you make it a priority to attend. We have all changed and so has Biloxi, so we hope you want to come together to celebrate both our past and our present, and, as a group, to pray for those of our class that have passed on. There is still plenty of time to get ready and make your plans.

 • We will start with an informal get together at the Skybar at the Reef Restaurant on Thurs night, Oct 21, 2021 (7pm – till). On Friday, Maxine Bremmer Crowell has arranged for a ladies lunch get together at Jazzeppi's Ristorante. If you plan to attend the Ladies Lunch, please RSVP to Maxine, as seating is somewhat limited . Email: [email protected]; or Facebook Messenger: facebook.com/maxine.bremercrowell
 • Friday evening we will hold a "Tailgate Party", We will have further info on the tailgate event soon.
 • The main event is Saturday night Oct 23 at the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum from 6pm – 10pm. We will have some great food (includes many delicious gulf coast seafood dishes by Broome’s Catering) and DJ music (from the 60’s & 70’s). Each attendee will receive 3 drink tickets when checking in, and additional tickets will be available for purchase. We will have a reasonable stock of the more common liquor, wine, and beer, but you may also bring your own. Due to MS ABC law, your bottles will have to be labeled with your name and given to the bartender. You are not allowed to pour your own alcohol.

We hope you will sign up as early as possible, so we can properly plan and budget, but clearly we still have a little bit of time for that. Just be sure to save the date and plan to attend.

All tickets must be ordered via this Eventbrite site so that we have all of the attendee information for things like the name badges. If you choose to pay by check, please send it to:

BHS Class of ‘70 c/o Elmer Williams , 847 Rue Sable, Biloxi, Ms. 39532

We do have a few classmates that are in a difficult financial situation and cannot afford to attend without some assistance. To help cover their fee, we have provided an optional "donation" button in our ticket sales section for those of you that are willing to help fund those tickets. I know we have a generous class and that many of you will step up and donate, so we don't exclude anyone due to affordability. If you are having a difficult time financially, please contact Jeffrey Braden by email: [email protected] or send an email to "Organizer" via this site, and we will make arrangements for you. This will be kept strictly confidential.

We will send occasional updates and reminders over the next few months. I certainly hope that Mrs. Bankston will approve of my grammar in this message, after all the difficulties I had in her English class!

We are anxious to see all of you!

Sincerely,

Jeffrey Braden on behalf BHS Class of ’70 & '71 Reunion Planning Committee
