Known as the official “Rockabilly Standard Bearer,” Billy’s story is pure rock ’n’ roll magic — from discovering Elvis Presley in junior high, to recording at Sun Studio in Memphis with Elvis’ own backing band. Since then, he’s become a cultural bridge between Japan and the birthplace of rockabilly, writing books, hosting radio shows, and leading Japan’s 4,000-member Rockabilly Promotion Committee!
Now, he’s bringing his passion and energy to Tupelo — Elvis’s hometown — to share stories, music, and his mission to keep the rockabilly spirit alive for generations to come.
